Belleville is situated on the eastern end of Lake Ontario, located at the mouth of the Moira River and on the Bay of Quinte.
It is conveniently located between Ottawa and Toronto. Belleville is an hour’s drive west from Kingston, the closest major city, and about a three-hour drive from Ottawa.
From Toronto, Belleville is about a 2.5 hour drive east via Highway 2 or 401, with train service available from VIA Rail.
