Where is Georgina?
Georgina is located on the south shores of Lake Simcoe, roughly one hour’s drive north of the Greater Toronto Area and approximately one hour’s drive west of the city of Barrie.
Technically a township, the largest adjacent communities in Georgina include Sutton and Keswick, the northernmost municipality in the Regional Municipality of York.
Thanks to direct access to the Trent-Severn Waterway, Georgina can be reached by boat, with moorage in Jackson’s Point Harbour. Public transit is provided via services from both York Region Transit and GO Transit.

Visit a provincial park
Enjoy hiking trails for all skill levels, sandy beaches and over 600 campsites to choose from at Sibbald Point Provincial Park. The park is also home to the Eildon Hall Museum.
Learn about military history
Discover Canada’s military history at the Georgina Military Museum. The museum is home to vehicles including tanks, jeeps and other artifacts. It also hosts historical re-enactments.
Play paintball or laser tag
Challenge your friends at Georgina Paintball, one of the largest courses in Ontario. Find nine different fields and over 10 hectares of space to play laser tag, paintball and more.
Stay at a resort and spa

Visit a farmers’ market
With over 30 local vendors, the Georgina Farmers’ Market offers an assortment of seasonal produce, baked goods, meats and more. The market is open every Sunday from May to October.
