Interesting facts about Upper Canada Playhouse

The Upper Canada Playhouse has been a fixture in Morrisburg since 1983.

In its early days, the theatre was little more than a giant tent on the village outskirts. Since then, the playlist has grown, and the theatre has now set up house in an old toothbrush and argyle sock factory converted into the fully equipped and charming theatre it is today.

The playhouse entertains an annual audience of about 40,000 people from multiple rural communities and urban centres across Ontario. Its thriving tourist and bus tour market has made it a significant economic driver for the Upper Canada Region.
