How to get to Hockey Hall of Fame
Location: 30 Yonge Street, Toronto
By car: Take the Gardiner Expressway West exit before taking the Yonge Street exit. Follow signs for Yonge Street North to Front Street. Parking is limited; the closest parking lots are Brookfield Place and 2 Church Street.
By transit: GO Transit and the TTC offer regular service to Union Station, which is a five-minute walk away.
By bike: Bike Share Toronto has multiple stations within walking distance.
Know before you go
The Hockey Hall of Fame is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the fall, winter and spring and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the summer and during March Break and the Christmas holiday.

Interesting facts about the Hockey Hall of Fame
The Hockey Hall of Fame was established in 1943 with the intended location of Kingston.
It was agreed that Kingston was the birthplace of ice hockey, but the construction process faced constant setbacks. The NHL withdrew support for Kingston, and the museum was moved to Toronto, where it officially opened in 1961 on the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) grounds.
Due to needing more space, the hall moved to its current location, the former Bank of Montreal building—the only building on its block that survived Toronto’s Great Fire in 1904.
