Ontario art and craft shows in 2024
Visiting a craft show or artisan fair is a fun excursion. Browse and shop for unique crafts, gifts and art, chat with the creative makers and feel great about supporting small local businesses. Often live entertainment and great food vendors accompany these events. You may even feel inspired to try out some craft-making of your own!

Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Beaches Arts and Crafts Show
Discover incredible handmade crafts at the Beaches arts and crafts show. Located in the heart of Toronto’s Beaches community, this outdoor market has been a springtime tradition since 1984
With over 150 independent artists, makers and designers displaying their work, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with local creatives and support their craftsmanship. You’ll find a wide range of items, including home decor, fashion, jewellery, visual art, toys, body care and artisanal food items.
Admission is free. Paid parking and some limited free street parking is available.
When: Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Cabbagetown Art and Craft Show
Held after the Labour Day weekend, the Cabbagetown Art and Craft Show has been an annual event in this historic neighbourhood since 1988.
Creative exhibitors line the walkways of the picturesque Riverdale Park, featuring a variety of innovative crafts that have been carefully selected by art juries. There will be culinary artists’ exhibits, as well as pop-up cafes and restaurants.
Parking is limited and people are encouraged to take public transit or use the Bike Share program. The event takes place rain or shine and admission is free.

One of a Kind Spring Show
Artisans from across Canada welcome visitors to this biannual Toronto exhibition, bringing their crafts, products and stories to share.
You’ll also enjoy fashion shows, cooking demonstrations and kids’ craft classes.

By Hand Gift Show
The By Hand Gift Show attracts thousands of art lovers from across Canada to the International Centre, located near Pearson International Airport. The show features high-quality handmade goods made by talented Canadian artists and designers and takes place twice a year, in January and August.
By Hand is part of Toronto Market Week, which also includes the MODE Show, Gift & Design Wholesale Market and SHOW T.O. All of these shows take place within the International Centre, so be sure to check them out for even more amazing goods.
Free on-site parking is available.

Craft and Vendor Show
The Craft and Vendor Show is an annual event in Brampton by volunteers of the Region of Peel Agricultural Society. A wide range of handmade crafts from local artisans is displayed each year.

Markham Home for the Holidays
Over 130 exhibitors will showcase their homemade crafts at the 37th annual Markham Home for the Holidays event.
This craft market is a great place to start checking names off your holiday gift list. Browse a wide variety of seasonal accessories, ornaments, stained glass, handcrafted jewellery and more.
You’ll also find fresh Christmas trees and shortbread cookies to help get you in the festive spirit. Victorian carolers will be performing in the three exhibition halls. And keep an eye out for Santa Claus.

Niagara Region
The HandMade Market
Experience the charms of a small-town market at the HandMade Market in Niagara Falls. It began in 2009 inside a 150-year-old farmhouse and has expanded to various larger sites around Niagara Falls.
The main attraction of this boutique market is the hand-crafted products created by artisans from across Ontario, Quebec and Canada’s East Coast. You’ll find jewellery, pottery, glass, hand-sewn bags, bath and body products, original fine art and wood products.
Free field parking spaces are available, plus accessible parking spots near the admission tent. Digital admission tickets must be pre-purchased online in advance.
When: 12th edition spring market is May 31 and June 1, and June 7 and 8, 2024. The 14th edition holiday market is November 29 to December 1, 2024

Hamilton, Halton and Brant
Craftadian Hamilton Spring Market
Discover a curated selection of over 75 local makers, artisans and designers at the Craftadian Hamilton Spring Market.
While exploring the wide variety of crafts, you can sample local wine and craft beers, plus delicious foods like pierogies, fudge and sweet gourmet treats from food trucks.
Tickets cost $5 each and can be purchased online or paid for in cash at the entrance. Note that there is a $1 discount if you buy your tickets online in advance. Children under 12 enter for free. McMaster Innovation Park offers free accessible parking, and more parking is available across the street.
The first 50 families will receive a free swag bag, so arrive early! In 2024 Craftadian Spring Markets will also be held in Mississauga and Burlington.

Mother’s Day Craft Show
Held every May for over 30 years in the Ancaster Fairgrounds, this is a juried, family-run event that attracts top artisans from across Ontario.
Knitted stuffed animals, body care products, preserves and other handmade crafts will be available to purchase.
Admission is $7 for adults and free for children 12 and under and tickets can only be paid for in cash at the entrance. Over 300 paved spots are available for free parking.

Waterloo Spring Craft Show
There’s no better way to celebrate the arrival of spring than by attending the Waterloo Spring Craft Show.

Admission is $5 for adults and free for kids under 10. Free parking spots at the RIM Park recreation centre are available.

Barrie Christmas Arts and Crafts Show

Apple Harvest Craft Show
Explore handmade crafts from over 200 artisans at the Apple Harvest Craft Show, one of the largest artisan fairs in Southern Ontario.
Find unique crafts such as hand-thrown pottery, wooden toys, candles, quilting, leather work and more. Select artists may perform a live demonstration of their craft and others will take custom orders.
Admission fare is $5 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under. Proceeds from the Apple Harvest Craft Show are donated to various community projects.

Glebe Craft & Artisan Fair
Hosted by the Glebe neighbourhood activities group, the Glebe Craft & Artisan Fair has been a community tradition for over 40 years.

Originals Christmas Craft Sale
Find one-of-a-kind handmade crafts at the annual Originals Christmas Craft Sale, which has been taking place in Ottawa since 1974.
As Ottawa’s leading holiday shopping event, this Christmas craft show offers a wide range of crafts created by over 170 artists, makers and designers. You’ll get to meet creative artisans in person, listen to their stories and discuss the techniques behind their craft.
Admission costs $10 for adults ($5 if you’re attending after 5:00 p.m. on a weekday) and is free for children 12 and under. On-site, ground-level parking spaces at the EY Centre are available.

The Maker’s Hand
Run by volunteers from the Prince Edward County Arts Council, The Maker’s Hand is a popular juried artisan show that attracts over 3,000 visitors from across Eastern Ontario.
Enjoy browsing through 40 craft booths presenting original designs made of quality materials and created by established and up-and-coming artists.
This event will be held in the spacious Lehigh Arena, which offers enhanced exhibition space and free parking. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under.

London Craft Shows
One of the largest spring and Christmas events in London, Ontario, London Craft Shows have been hosting quality events for over 40 years.
Over 180 exhibits run by local small businesses showcase handmade crafts such as paintings, food and gourmet preserves, jewellery, clothing, stuffed animals and much more. You’ll get the chance to win fun prizes, and during the Christmas craft festival, kids can take photos with Santa.
The London Spring Craft Show is a two-day event, while the London Christmas Craft Festival takes place over four days.

43rd London Christmas Craft Festival, November 28 to December 1, 2024

Haliburton Art and Craft Festival
2024 marks the 61st year for the annual Haliburton art and craft festival.
Situated in Head Lake Park, beside the Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre, this curated fair is a summer tradition for art-loving locals and tourists alike. Enjoy strolling through art booths, busker entertainment and fun participatory activities, plus a playground for the little ones.
Admission is free, but monetary donations are appreciated. Free parking is available at lots near Head Lake Rotary Park.

Muskoka Arts & Crafts Summer Show
Enjoy warm weather and beautiful art at the outdoor Muskoka Arts & Crafts Show.
One of Ontario’s oldest and largest rural shows, this show has been a highlight of Muskoka’s summer season since 1963.

Northern Ontario
Spring Craft Revival
The Spring Craft Revival is an exciting artisan event held in Thunder Bay twice a year with over 25 pop-up markets flourishing around the city. It’s organized by the volunteer-run Craft Revival and the markets are composed of local artists, makers and small business owners.
