Brampton
Brampton had its start as Canada’s premier “FlowerTown” in the late 19th century. This came from the city’s thriving greenhouse industry, which exported roses, orchids and cut flowers all over the world.
In recent years, Brampton has blossomed into a vibrant city with colourful gardens, public art and multicultural festivals.
Home to several conservation areas that shelter local flora and fauna, Brampton’s lush scenery is a popular location for film and TV productions. Sports enthusiasts can play golf at Turnberry Golf Club, while history buffs explore Gage Park, the oldest park in Brampton.
